General Motors is running ads on all the major networks this week claiming it has repaid its bailout from the taxpayers “in full.” But the claim isn’t standing up to scrutiny from lawmakers and government watchdogs who have found that the automaker was able to repay the bailout money only by dipping into a separate pot of bailout funds.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to purchase sixty Remington Model 870 Police RAMAC #24587 12 gauge pump-action shotguns for the Criminal Investigation Division. The Remington parkerized shotguns, with fourteen inch barrel, modified choke, Wilson Combat Ghost Ring rear sight and XS4 Contour Bead front sight, Knoxx Reduced Recoil Adjustable Stock, and Speedfeed ribbed black forend, are designated as the only shotguns authorized for IRS duty based on compatibility with IRS existing shotgun inventory, certified armorer and combat training and protocol, maintenance, and parts.

Submit quotes including 11% Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax (FAET) and shipping to Washington DC.

The following provisions and clauses in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) apply to this acquisition and include any addenda to the provisions. Bill In Congress Would Prohibit Gun Sales To Anyone Government Decides Is A “Terrorist”

The bill number is H.R. 2159

Relevant portions:

`Sec. 922A. Attorney General’s discretion to deny transfer of a firearm

`The Attorney General may deny the transfer of a firearm pursuant to section 922(t)(1)(B)(ii) if the Attorney General determines that the transferee is known (or appropriately suspected) to be or have been engaged in conduct constituting, in preparation for, in aid of, or related to terrorism, or providing material support thereof, and the Attorney General has a reasonable belief that the prospective transferee may use a firearm in connection with terrorism.’;

(2) by inserting the following new section after section 922A:

`Sec. 922B. Attorney General’s discretion regarding applicants for firearm permits which would qualify for the exemption provided under section 922(t)(3)

`The Attorney General may determine that an applicant for a firearm permit which would qualify for an exemption under section 922(t) is known (or appropriately suspected) to be or have been engaged in conduct constituting, in preparation for, in aid of, or related to terrorism, or providing material support thereof, and the Attorney General has a reasonable belief that the applicant may use a firearm in connection with terrorism.’; and

(3) in section 921(a), by adding at the end the following:

`(36) The term `terrorism’ means `international terrorism’ as defined in section 2331(1), and `domestic terrorism’ as defined in section 2331(5).

`(37) The term `material support’ means `material support or resources’ within the meaning of section 2339A or 2339B.

Gee, I guess if you are identified as a right wing extremist by DHS, you might be appropriately suspected, huh?

And by the way, I know the term “reasonably suspected,” but what does “appropriately suspected” mean?

And then there’s this:

(h) Attorney General’s Ability To Withhold Information in Relief From Disabilities Lawsuits- Section 925(c) of such title is amended by inserting after the 3rd sentence the following: `If receipt of a firearms by the person would violate section 922(g)(10), any information which the Attorney General relied on for this determination may be withheld from the applicant if the Attorney General determines that disclosure of the information would likely compromise national security. In responding to the petition, the United States may submit, and the court may rely on, summaries or redacted versions of documents containing information the disclosure of which the Attorney General has determined would likely compromise national security.’.

I have recently been awakened to the terror that has become our government, as you can tell by my screen name. If you have ever seen the movie the Matrix then you know exactly what I am talking about. In the movie Keanu Reeves is given a choice to take a red pill and become awaken to reality or take a blue pill and have no memory of anything. He takes the red pill and is introduced to a nightmare of a reality.

I have taken the red pill and discovered what the government is doing to us. The youth of America today are being programmed to believe that they are living in a "Great Society", in which the government is our great protector. They are being conditioned to view religion as a tool to stop them from thinking for themselves. They are being taught that morals are whatever makes you happy. I have been awakened to reality… and I’m scared. In the movie some of the characters state, "I should have taken the blue pill." I feel the same way sometimes, but then, I would still be a mind controlled robot. I have become an enemy of the state, I have become the governments worst nightmare, I have started to think for myself.

I have started my own mission to wake the sleeping people of this country, I have started with my family and friends… finding out what they think and helping them see the light. If the people in this country who have been awaken will stand up and fight back, teach our kids the truth, remind our youth what morals are, and… remind or teach our kids the beauty of the American Constitution, and the danger it is in, then we can take back our country.

I have been awaken… I have been reminded… I have had my mind freed!

The co-chair of Barack Obama’s Transition Team, Valerie Jarrett, appeared on Meet the Press this weekend and used, shall we say, an interesting word to described what she thinks Barack Obama will be doing in January when he’s officially sworn into office. She told Tom Brokaw that Obama will be ready to "rule" on day one. It’s a word that reflects the worst fears that people have for Obama the "arrogant," the "messiah," that imagines he’s here to "rule" instead of govern.

Jarret told Brokaw that "given the daunting challenges that we face, it’s important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one."
